He has been involved in almost every aspect of real estate in the San Francisco Bay Area for the last 25+ years. His clients have been well served by his level of attention to detail, hard work, high energy, and keen knowledge of the real estate market which includes property sales, property leasing, property management, as well as real estate financing.

Michael’s diversified career began with investment banking at Bear Stearns and then Oppenheimer and Co. working with high-net-worth and institutional clients in fixed-income and equity sales. Michael then went on to start his own mortgage company, Summit Mortgage Advisors, Inc., in 2001. At Summit, Michael was the president and CEO, and just three years later, Michael and Summit Mortgage Advisors became one of the top 200 producing mortgage firms in the country. In 2002, Michael formed Heights Properties Real Estate, a small boutique real estate firm in Pacific Heights, where he and his associate's handled sales, leasing, and property management of over 200 unique San Francisco homes and condominiums. Heights Properties was known for its high level of customer service and commitment to excellence. In 2011, Michael joined Pacific Union as the president of property management where he focused on clients for both residential and commercial real estate transactions. 

Joining Sotheby’s International Realty in 2016, Michael continues to utilize his unique real estate background, allowing him expertise on all aspects of a property purchase or sale, including; the ability to provide mortgage information when financing a home or property, provide detailed market analysis and cash flow scenarios to increase revenue on rental properties, property management details for investors, as well as to help all buyers or sellers with his strong negotiation skills when buying or selling their home or property. Michael has been credited with providing superior customer service as well as an in-depth knowledge of the market to clients which has led him to be ranked among the top 100 Sotheby’s International Realty agents nationwide. 

Outside of real estate, Michael is a member of the Olympic Club Triathlon team and can often be seen cycling the Marin Headlands or golfing at the Olympic Club. He has competed in the Escape from Alcatraz Triathlon 10 times and is a six-time Ironman finisher. Michael lives in Pacific Heights with his wife, a successful cafe and bakery owner, and two dogs, King Charles Cavalier and English Mastiff.
